Der Weihnachtsmarkt in Wadgassen präsentiert regionale Aussteller:innen mit Handwerkskunst, Speisen oder Getränken und findet traditionell am ersten Adventswochenende (25.11. bis 27.11.) statt. Die Eröffnung am Freitag um 17 Uhr erfolgt durch einen ökumenischen Gottesdienst im historischen Abteihof.
Von Freitag bis Sonntag können die Besucher:innen sich dann ganz dem weihnachtlichen Treiben hingeben und in die Vorweihnachtszeit eintauchen. Achtung: Angeblich hat sich auch der Nikolaus angekündigt, um den Kindern kleine Freuden zu bereiten.
